Menstrual Health Awareness Project

The Pakistan Development Movement condusted a Menstrual Health Awareness project, a topic considered as taboo in our society, where we educated young girls about menstruation, menstrual hygiene practices, available menstrual products, and addressed societal and psychological aspects. We also donated menstrual health kits to the participants. The project was held at St. Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church in Islamabad.

PDM envisions a progressive, inclusive, and empowered Pakistan where no community is left behind.

IVD 2.0

The Pakistan Development Movement on 3rd December 2024 participated in IVD.2.0 Volunteer day event in collaboration with AL-Khidmat Foundation at the Pak-China Friendship Center, Islamabad. The Project was conducted by PDM Islamabad and was led by Huria Ashiq. 

Visit of Fareezah School

On 27 September 2024, the Pakistan Development Movement (PDM) visited Fareezah School in Rawalpindi. The team conducted interactive ethics workshops and distributed gifts to the students, fostering a spirit of learning and motivation. The project was conducted by PDM Islamabad. 

PDM Visit to QAU

On November 15, 2024, the Pakistan Development Movement (PDM) visited Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad. The purpose of the visit was to engage with students, particularly those from minority communities in Pakistan, to understand their challenges through meaningful discussions. The delegation was led by Huria Ashiq and hosted by Ali Hasnain, PDM’s ambassador to QAU.

PDM Climate Drive Ghtoki

In June 2024, As part of Goal 10, the Pakistan Development Movement (PDM) planted 50 trees in Ghotki. The local community is responsible for maintaining the trees, while PDM periodically receives updates on their progress. The project was led by Kamal-u-din with a team of 10 volunteers.

Trees Planted: 40 Neem trees, 5 Desi Lemon and 5 Jumun/Morigna.

PDM Climate Drive Badin

In June 2024, As part of Goal 10, the Pakistan Development Movement (PDM) planted 50 trees in Badin. The local community is responsible for maintaining the trees, while PDM periodically receives updates on their progress. The project was led by Doleh Khan with a team of 15 volunteers.

Trees Planted: 40 Neem trees, 5 Desi Lemon and 5 Jumun/Morigna.
