Pakistan Development Movement
In light of the ongoing situation in Azad Jammu & Kashmir, PDM presents its official stance:
- Condemnation of Violence Against Civilians:
We express our heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones and pray for the speedy recovery of those who have been injured. PDM condemns all acts of violence, particularly any reported use of excessive or unlawful force against civilians.
Citizens have the right to peacefully express their concerns within the framework of the law. We support transparent and impartial investigations into all reported incidents of violence, including allegations of excessive use of force.
- Call for Constructive Engagement and Peaceful Dialogue:
Violence offers no resolution. We strongly urge the Government and civil representatives/citizens to engage in continuous, meaningful, and peaceful dialogue to address grievances, uphold the rule of law, lower tensions, and restore stability.
- Commitment to the Federation & Citizen Welfare
We stand firmly with the Federation of Pakistan and its democratic institutions, our loyalty to the state goes hand in hand with our commitment to protecting the rights, dignity, and safety of every citizen.
We call upon all youth, civil society members, and public authorities to exercise restraint, reject violence, and work together to promote peace, justice, and national development.
